JSTWX
Not looking as snowy on the 06 runs. So, there's that. The 0z Euro was fairly cold and wet, continuing its consistency. 925s and 850s are below freezing from the mountains eastward to about I-81. At least it's going to warm up fast this weekend. (It should - it's the end of April!!!!!!!)

PottercountyWXobserver
Currently 27°F, wonder how low it will go, NWS has us going down to 27 and we are at that now so who knows. It's PC out right now so I'm sure it will drop at least somewhat unless winds pick up, which I highly doubt. We did have some snow flurries/showers today at times! The high stayed in the low 40s today which is some 15°F below average, and lol BFD never reached above the chilly 38°F today. . It should be interesting to see how much rain we pick up from these next couple of storms, wondering if we can break some April precip records. canderson
Guys, as of 3 p.m. I don't have to boil water anymore to use it for anything!!!! It's like I'm back in America! Also, if you haven't read the contractor that f'd up Harrisburg's water told the AP a beaver ate through the line. LOLOLOL Now if you have twitter check out @hbgbeavers and #beavergate. It's well worth your time, I swear. Back to weather, it sleeted here for about 5 minutes this afternoon. It's now just drizzly and cold as crap. JamieOber
Why is he posting 168-hr QPF maps on there To show the general public what the pattern very well could produce, to give an idea of how wet the pattern is. He is not talking about exact amounts. He communicates weather ideas very well, and without communicating them the proper way, no matter how good the meteorologist, the forecast has absolutely no value. First day without rain in what seems like a month and a half, and with rain coming later had to take advantage! I was at my family in Mt. Wolf for Easter. They were going on about how nice of a day it was and how the forecast was wrong, I said wait until later. Sure enough, bam. Thunderstorm. Spring 2011 pulled one of those moves like in pro wrestling where the guy plays possum and then pops up and punches him in the gut, lol .
