NortheastPAWx
I got invited to a tailgate. I simply said I don't want to sit in 48 degree heavy wind-driven rain for a scrimmage. His reply was "is it really going to be like that? It's so sunny right now." Jaime some of these stories are just unbelieveable...did he really say that? JamieOber
Jaime some of these stories are just unbelieveable...did he really say that? Sure. I find it more unbelievable that you never encountered that. It's something I have noticed - a few people for whatever reason have a tough time understanding that weather is dynamic. Here is an example: http://twitter.com/ams2389/statuses/58907661760077825 That's a friend of one of my interns. A lot of it has to do with the fact that this has just been a gloomy spring and you get wishful thinking.

canderson
Now up to 3.35in of rain with severe flash flooding/road closures I'm living on an island right now. We are very lucky to have gotten through Front Street. My wife - who was driving - said she wouldn't drive through the water before we did because of me telling her to never do it. I felt bad for telling her to drive through it but knew if we didn't we'd be stuck all night. Hope there's no damage down in York - I did see a little wall cloud coming down 81 this afternoon but it was dissipating and non-threatening to say the least at that time.
