Ukie looks like it has the first event as pretty significant here, but I don't really believe it. It looks like it gets both waves to amplify.

Yeah hard to believe the first wave is so tiny and fast moving that it gives the second one room to amplify.

I think Pete will be in AK and probably miss it. :devilsmiley:

found out that I may get back a little sooner from FL ...maybe late on Sunday 2nd ....but I guess the storm has done its thing by then.

Cold here today....mid Feb. conditions...29F with sunshine. The low was 14.

I've gotta get out of Dodge while I can. It'll be enough if I can say I told you so to all the prancers.

Timing wise.... Is this event moving out by Saturday the 2nd some time?

Gotta plan my trip back driving home from FL via a stop at some relatives in MD. Hate to miss a storm but looks like I get home Sunday. LOL

If you're driving you'd be chasing it up the Coast. If you are flying, you are rerouted to PIT for a pleasant extended stay upon Terminal E's plastic seats under a monitor the persistently reads Canceled and or Delayed.

I'll be driving back...well I'll stay just behind it I guess, but maybe the snow will not yet have melted when I get home. :) ..assuming this happens.....

I'm flying down Monday early, visiting my 93 year old aunt, some cousins, meeting my sister and family (already vacationing there). Then late Wednesday (or early Thur.) we drive north and we get to DC Fri and probably drive home from DC on Sun.

I had to do a lot of searching, but I finally got a good deal on a one way rental from TPA back to ALB. So only driving the return trip.

1-2 feet looks likely

:weenie: :weenie:

1-2 weenies likely.

Of course, my daughter's making her "should I go here" visit to Keene State next weekend. Somehow, I think she might find the milder Towson State more appealing at this time of year. Be nice to haver her close by here, though. Instead, I might need to worry about her staying away from Jay. :)

Almost broke freezing today--got to 31.9. Back to 31.2/9.
