Juicy!

Flirting with 80 by 8am along with a dewpoint near 70.

Good stuff.

You might enjoy south Florida. The conditions you mentioned are the norm at daybreak for about 6 months of the year.

I'd be much happier with dewpoints in the 60's at 8 AM...and temps to match.

Trust me, I've been pushing my wife into the idea of moving south of VA, to the Carolinas or further south. :) She has no interest though.

Ever since i was a kid, I've always loved spring or summer morning that started out in the low to mid-70s. That feeling of warmth and humidity gets me going in the morning, unlike cold and wind.

Up to 90 at 10:30 already.

Believe me, living in Memphis Tn for almost 20 years, I do not miss the heat and humidity. The overnight lows in the 80's and highs near 100 with humidity near 50% ---you can have it. By the time you get playing outside like golfing, at 10-11 am you are done. Many times I had to change my clothes including my underwear because of the humidity at noon. Enjoy what you have here because you will spend your time in the house down there because it is too hot. Why do think Walmarts and Krogers do well-- they run their A/C to the max to encourage people to shop- too hot to go anywhere else. Also- it is a dry heat in the late summer with humidities slightly lower to prevent afternoon thundershowers from forming. Nothing worse than watching the grass burn up --- 100 degrees and humidities just high enough to make you sweat like pig. Try a week of no air conditioning down there-- that will change your mind real quick

I'm likely stuck in PA for awhile, so it ain't going to happen, but as much as I love cold and snow, I enjoy heat and humidity. That means, I rarely complain about the weather, unless its somewhere between 40-60 degrees, cloudy, rainy and windy. If I moved down south it would be closer to the coast where a seabreeze would give a break from many days with temperatures over 92 or so.......I have no interest in a place like Memphis or Birmingham or Dallas.......nothing but land, heat and humidity and no cooling breeze in any direction.

93 @ noon here with a light south wind.

I have an aunt and uncle who moved down to Murrell's Inlet, SC. They love it. It's a nice area, housing is fairly inexpensive, and they live about 1/2 mile from the beach. Seems like it would be right up your alley.

Looking forward to the next few days of temps in the low to mid 80's and < 70 DP's.

How ironic....I was on vacation there in April, actually in southern Myrtle Beach, but spent plenty of time in Murrell's Inlet while down there (awesome seafood!). Very nice area, although seeing how high the water came in during Hugo (I believe) would make me worry during Hurricane Season. Still though, that was my first trip to SC and I loved it. We hope to go back next spring, maybe trying Charelston or Hilton Head.

A toasty 94 as of 1:30pm. SSW winds picking up some.
