ParanormalWx
Yeah, but it looks like these storms are still packing a punch. At the very least, we should see a nice lightning show. I hope so. I'm going to take my 2 month old outside for her first light show.
phlwx
Wouldn't be surprised if the outflow boundary blows through the northern/western Philly burbs over the next 30-60 minutes.

cast4
Yeah, the gust front getting out in front of the storms are killing them down south. Should get a nice breeze anyway.

LVblizzard
Decent light show with the main storm here, but a stunning one to the northeast after it passed. One of the best I've ever seen.
Voyager
One of the hail stones from storm #1 in my backyard. This was after about 45 minutes of melting had taken place as we weren't home when the storm hit.

ParanormalWx
Nice storm. Nothing severe but pea sized hail and gusts to 50 mph. Lightning was decent but seemed strong just to the southeast...i.e Bath, Petersville area.

Thunder Road
90.4 for the high today I'm skeptical of that 94 at PHL though, especially since PNE only briefly touched 90 and PNE is usually warmer than PHL on these SW-wind days

Big Jims Videos
Calling it quits at 2am....I can't believe there's been lightning in the skies over Pittston since 7pm...and still going strong as round 5 or 6 by now is just to my southwest. Where's lee? Tonight's lightning was some of the wildest I have seen since a Howell, NJ storm in June of 2006. Attempted a chase earlier to Schyulkll County but wisely turned around approaching Hazleton when I saw the hail sigs off the charts..good thing too. Softball sized hail in Coaldale. ParanormalWx
Those storms in central PA will fall apart before reaching eastern PA...right? They did but I had some gusty winds overnight for a short period of time, probably what was left of those storms. Today is going to be similar to yesterday. Maybe not quite the strength, but numerous severe storms should be scattered about.

LMolineuxLM1
According to the 12Z HRRR the same area's that got hit yesterday/lastnight should get hit again today/tonight with about the same strength or slightly weaker but still impressive storms. Voyager
West Penn Community Park about 8 miles south of Tamaqua took a pretty good hit last night. In photo #4 with the collapsed pavilion, you can see that the trees surrounding it were snapped off about 15-20 ft above the ground. I wonder if it wasn't a small, short duration tornado that caused the damage. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Isotherm
Gorgeous summer day. 85/72 here in Colts Neck and even mid 80s right now in Belmar on a brisk SE wind! Clearly the warmest day of the stretch thus far. Mid-upper 80s widespread highs across NJ this afternoon. Probably some low 90s showing up in the usual hot spots.
