I like the cool, but wish it would be sunny more often.

As I have posted many times in the past, sunny skies with high temps in the low to mid 80's and moderate humidity is excellent late spring and summer weather. Warm enough for those summery outdoor activities (swimming, picnics/BBQ's, summer sports, etc.), but not too oppressive for those of us who aren't fond of sweating up a storm while working outside. Plus it's not as big of a strain on the electricity for running A/C, as 90+ temps would be.

We could use a nice week or two stretch of weather like that.

Cloud wise, maybe. Temp wise, this spring is leaps and bounds ahead of 2003.

during 2003 there was a 7 wk stretch from May through June 22nd of the absolute worst spring weather I can remember, this year isn't even remotely close

Trenton never hit 80 in May & accumulated a lusty total of (5) CDD's for month, this May could end up 6-7 degrees warmer than May 2003

Yes, we have really only had one full week of excellent weather. That was my birthday week at least. I wouldn't mind a couple 90s as we haven't had them yet, but I do tire of them quickly. I'd like some warm and sunny summer weather, too (low to mid 80s).

Had over 8/10ths of an inch of rain here in Elko today and loved every minute of it

I also believe this was the tenth day in a row where TTN has had measurable precip... any idea what the record is?

Springs seem to be warming up the fastest of all the seasons...a good thing because I think springs are much too cold in the east, However we can't enjoy it because of the clouds and the rain!

You want to see a slow warmup, come to the intermountain west... temps cool down much faster in the fall than they warm up in the spring.

Not sure, I haven't tabulated that particular statistic, but there was 12 days straight in late July/early August 2003, so its definitely not a record.
