Ian
you can sort of see the warm front on radar.. the cells south of it are ramping back up a bit
Ian
culpeper or just north of there should get clocked by that little bow segment forming

Avdave
Looks like I may get to fly through the storms again. Bumpy, bumpy, bumpy! DCA? Hope the ATC dont fall asleep like they did this morning and planes landed on their own some flashes of lightning and thunder but the rain is the biggest aspect with windswept rains
Stormpc
Looks like a bit of rotation near or just north of Culpeper
Ian
nice cell blowing up south of dca.. warm front somewhere in there it seems. the other piece that's warned looks pretty good too. close for d.c. south seems like a better bet for better action. Ian
Looks like a bit of rotation near or just north of Culpeper sorta looks like a mesolow wanting to form on the warm front but any rotation in the lower levels is pretty minimal thus far
Avdave
Looks like a bit of rotation near or just north of Culpeper Indeed, radar showed it as a Tornado briefly, you can see it here
Stormpc
sorta looks like a mesolow wanting to form on the warm front but any rotation in the lower levels is pretty minimal thus far Yeah. It had about 2 frames of "the look" before it bowed out a bit. That western Fairfax cell looks healthy. It's a shame we could never get the boundary to warm up or else we would have been in big business. Hail is even looking unlikely
BethesdaWX
Gusted to 38mph out of the NNW, drizzle falling. Winds should be in DC soon. Seeing distant lightning to the SW.

Ian
IAD temp at 8pm at 64? Is that right? 48 at DCA. 50 here. Damn. i wonder if dca can spike at all.. not much time left but given radar, warm front might be overhead or moving north
Swiscaster
Decent lightning here in western Fairfax County again, pelting huge raindrops. Sounded almost like hail but I saw none. Down to 47.8 degrees and dropping. If that 64 at IAD is legit, that is a pretty big temp difference. I'm just 10 miles due south of there.
MN Transplant
IAD temp at 8pm at 64? Is that right? 48 at DCA. 50 here. Damn. 68 intrahour.
