Kmlwx
time to push the car in the garage, got to love these cool pools of air upstairs in these set ups. Wimp. We will get NO severe. Car being moved in for no reason Dave!
Ian
Well isn't the warm front nearby? That might help in the tornado risk... the STW seemed to think that the elevated hailers would be in S PA im not sure exactly where it is, only have hpc here at work http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/sfc/90fwbg.gif i think the primary type would still be elevated around here.. we're not going to fully scour the cooler air mass at the surface it seems. if the front were to work up here in time it could probably enhance a conditional torn risk but it would probably still be rather low in this area. WVclimo
Damn, that had to be wild, any pics? Not sure. He called me as he was driving because he said it looked serious up ahead and wanted me to check radar. I told him to pull over and sit tight. He called back to thank me, described what he saw, then I guess he lost his call signal. EDIT: The guy just called back. Said the funnel didn't touch down to the ground, but he watched as the tops of the trees were snapping off and described an obvious path that could be seen where it came through. I asked if he filmed it on his Blackberry. He said he was too busy sh*tting his pants.
