Do you have a link to your GPS chase map?

Same as my sig: http://www.weatherwarrior.net/tV.html. Not streaming video (YET), but there is two tracking maps...one which is bigger and below the video. Just look around the page.

Streaming is going to be iffy today in the mountains. might have to set the quality a little low. Not much 3g out in WV. In fact...Sprint is kinda non-existent in WV.

Be prepared for some dense fog on Big Savage Mtn, it is nasty

The fog has been nasty fun. Not great to drive in, but the visuals along the mountain peaks has been nice. I wish I had time to get tripoded video of it...but I only shot a little of it from the car. We have no just recently broken out of the cold-air damming (up almost 15 degress in about as many miles). Also seeing some blue sky...must be burning off nicely.

More later...once in Morgantown area.

Just snapped this 3D shot of a monster hail core east of Wilmington, OH. 60+ dbz core showing... yellow line is 0ºC, red line is -20ºC for those not familiar with the program. One of the nicest looking hail cores I've seen in a while.. wouldn't be surprised to get some reports of 2-3" stones in western Ross co, OH. We'll see if I'm right or not...

On I79 just south of the split with I68... taking a break and watching the storms produce a few bolts here and there overhead (nothing special). Going to head south on a bit to get ready for the OH cells. Jason's laptop/nav and I'm at the wheel... posting from the phone.

Tornado watch has been expanded to include all of southern WV and SW VA now, including Roanoke, Covington and Hot springs, VA thru 10pm

looks like a seperate watch, not that it matters that much..

they are separate but at this point I dont think it matters much unless you really want to get the gritty details ;)

not particularly but it would be a super giant watch if it was just extended south ilke that. plus the second one ends an hour later. :P

as they transition elevated the torn risk should dissipate pretty decently. probably not enough of a widespread threat. hopefully the line doesnt fall apart as it hits us...

Well isn't the warm front nearby? That might help in the tornado risk... the STW seemed to think that the elevated hailers would be in S PA
