I hit 73F on the 18th.

Thus far

7 days over 50F

2 days over 60F

1 day over 70F

Not bad to have 40% of the month that warm.

:sun: Hopefully April isn't as cold and raw as some of the pros were saying a week or so ago. That one 70 degree day was a real tease.

Damn, I thought all of CT looked good for 3-6" ;)

At least the mid-atlantic had some snow, they've had a rough winter/spring snowfall wise.

Fast foward yesterdays setup a couple months and we'd have a pretty nice t-storm outbreak across NYS/ WNE.

Well I feel pretty bummed about yesterday. I didn't forecast, but definitely would have busted. I wasn't thinking a significant amount for Logan, but I feel bad on harping the mid level aspect of the snow potential. It was there...not like it was a phantom phenomenon, but everything....everything got squashed to the south. It's never good when the arse end of the PV backs up and sags south, like a dude over Ray's head. I more bummed about this last dusting possible being it for the year.

I think it was more that the convection/tstorms to the south and west robbed all the moisture than the PV

It may have been part of it..but I don't think it was the main issue here. We had a good deal of confluence and in the end..it just squashed everything south. That, and it also forced some subsidence on us.

Hopefully the threat for next week comes back modelwise...I would think it would as we get closer

It's been a horrible month. Pete can post all the pictures of men flying into the mtns of AK, and all the pictures of saw horses buried, but lets face it..this month sux. There is no sugar coating it.

Yup..though at least we didn't go snowless like the last 2 March's. I managed 3 inches this week..which is 3 more than i had the last 2 March's.
