Brian5671
After looking at radar..and admitedly having 6 Guinness...I am going to have to admit defeat on this. I lose. 1-2 tops. At least the pattern is cold as we move thru day 10..so even though snow lovers lost tonight..the spring prancers have absolutely nothing to look forward to...so we all lose Gee, we told you that 12 hrs ago... weatherMA
All we need is Kbosch to tell us it's a sw CT winter. speaking of that, he just disappeared. I just looked at his profile, and he hasn't been online since Jan 27.
ORH_wxman
I wonder if I'll see a flake. I wonder if those weenie flakes I had earlier is all I will see. I actually stayed conservative this morning and went 1-3" for the N ORH towns and 2-4 for Union...and those will be too bullish

Mr. Windcredible!
Has this really fell apart as much as it has just shifted south? Seems earlier model runs were just bringing the moisture currently in PA farther north into SNE. That moisture is still there...but it just appears to be sliding south. weatherMA
DT's final map had 3-6" north of Dendrite

Not criticizing, just curious, as most mets here seem confident in no accumulation or only 1" or less.
nzucker
This thing has really fallen apart.. I don't have the Euro but I went to bed last night thinking 2-4... when I saw 12z runs today I was pissed. Do you think it'll start to fill in as the coastal takes over from the primary? Getting a nice snow here, coating all surfaces including roads. About .25" accumulation so far from the second wave after .5" last night, but it is a mixture of snow and sleet so not the prettiest. 32.2/

Not sure, that stuff to our west could still produce some steady snow and when the storm passes to our south, it will try and enhance any stuff going on in the mid-levels...later tonight. But I'm doubting if any of that is enough to even get to an inch where we are.

It went to hell in a hand basket this morning. I didn't forecast, but I would have probably went for 1 to 3 inches last night and even into very early this morning, maybe even a bit more before the euro came out. Snow (light) started around 7:30 Dusting - 1" maybe for me... BOX says 2 on the map, more in the pointy pointy I love WaWa
