BOX expanded advisories lol...huh.gif The cape is under one now along with se mass. Very odd considering we all expected them to drop them if anything. BOX FTW??

THEEARLY COOLING DUE TO EVAPORATION LEADS TO SLIGHTLY BETTER CONFIDENCE OF ACCUMULATING SNOW OVERNIGHT REGARDLESS OF NRN MODELSTRENDING S IN LATEST RUNS.

HAVE OPTED TO ADJUST CURRENT WINTER WX ADVISORY EASTWARD TO THE S COAST AND INTO CENTRAL RHODE ISLAND AFTER COLLABORATION WITH OKX.

Radar says it should be snowing pretty good at RME and ALB but nothing. A lot of dry air to overcome. Alb DP drooping to 11 is not a good sign

RME had nothing on the 4pm obs...but they had a SPEC ob and are now reporting weenie snow with 5 mile vis.

looks like the 18z NAMs wrong then laugh.gif

Hopefully its a sign that we can saturate the column and those echoes will last to us later and give a period of steady snow.

Any weenie flakes there yet? You are east and down the slope so you might not have them for a while longer.

that band of heavier snow through ontario and WNY is defintely further north than it was supposed to be on earlier models.

in addition, the initial impulse WAA snows yesterday were further south than modeled.

all in all, models are struggling with exact placement with these batches of moisture. it wont be a big deal, but enough to keep followigng radar trends.

having said that, dont ever mess with the PV. :P
