An example of the models not giving much love to the mid level lows, but also the NAM was way too far south here.

Messengers infamous "split system".....he swore it would whiff me....12.5" later...

with the amount of weenie jokes tossed around in our threads...99% of the posters being male...how should i interpret that? you all need to go take a lot of cold showers? you all are scared to come out of the closet?

I'm thinking the closets are full of blowup dolls and pocket va*inas.

You must have been drunk on shirley temples again during a lot of that...split system didn't equal a whiff.

Yeah they cut a little back over CNE, but juiced up a bit to the south of the Pike, especially 06z-12z. It's also trying to tilt the QPF shield so it's not such a wnw-ese gradient type thing.

Didn't one of the other pros say not to use the GEFS inside of xx hour because of the inferior resolution? Or did I misremember that.

Not a whiff....but I distinctly remember that you said nw of Boston would only see light snows.

You were wrong in that respect, jut as I was wrong for not catching the split.

I was awake that night and we were saying how you were sleeping through that.

yes he claims to have gotten up at 130....but that would have been the first time he was awake in history for an hour (1:30 to 2:30) and didn't post while he was getting couple inches/hr snowfall. he set his alarm too late we know the deal  .....no one is buying what he is selling about that nite.

32/25, skied a nice line down to about 800' where the snow from yesterday was starting to thin. Held onto the 4-6" that fell yesterday from 1200' up. Popped out of the woods at the bottom of the local Sugarbush. 750 gallon collection tank needs to be emptied daily. Sap is a flowing, been a good sugaring season, much better than last year.

Will, seems like a 3-5"/4-6" snowfall is likely here. Do you think there is a shot for the 8-12" snow that DT outlined in that first call map?

I may not be Will, but I'm more inclined to go with a 4-6" snowfall for the East Slope at this point. If the model guidance trends in favor of the more north GFS solution at 00Z, I'd be more inclined to go with an 8"+ scenario for you. The atmosphere is very cold, and ratios could be quite good for the higher elevations, especially at night.
