Was a very heavy wet snow on my treck into work, Pompton Plains to Ramsey via 23 - 287 - 17. Snow was sticking to everything including the roadway until I got to about Mahwah. 17 was pretty clear. About 1-2" on the ground. Still snowing lightly as of 9:20am.

I'm at work on the Allendale/Ramsey border right on Rt.17 and we're still getting some moderate snow. Side streets were starting to get covered at 9am when I got in. I'm gonna guess about 1"+ on the grass.

Definitely an interesting drive to work. I left Lyndhurst and it was 36 and raining with an occasional flake mixed in. I hopped on Rt3 west to the Parkway North and literally after driving 2 miles to my west, my car therometer dropped to 33 with heavy snow. Once I got north of Paramus/Ridgewood it was 32 and sticking to most surfaces other than the highways.

Just got hit with some abnormaly big sleet balls. Had to take a second look to make sure it wasn't small hail

About 15 min ago there were what appeared to be enormous chunks of ice blowing off the tops of buildings in midtown, But perhaps that was just coming out of the sky.

For what like 15-20 minutes? Unless it's gonna snow a foot+, by late March, who needs it.

AGREE totaly. Nobody actually wants snow this time of year, they feel as if they rooted for it all winter so why stop now. I wouldn't be too woried about the d8 threat as climatology is on our side and today is the first day of spring. Hopefully this nightmare of a pattern coming this week will break down soon.
