NJwinter23
Thank you for the clarification. It looked like a cold wedge of air to me on the GFS in NW NJ, but I am not a met by any means. Well I'm not sure what timestamp on the gfs you would be referring to. I suppose it is certainly possible that those areas were a couple degrees colder than areas in Westchester county even before the precip moved in..but the wedged colder appearance now is likely because it is precipitating here versus not yet in areas further northeast

Edge Weather
I never said it would not snow in Butler, in fact on my blog I have been talking about that possibility since Saturday. Edge Weather
Honestly, the snow is just getting heavier here. This is the hardest it has been all morning so far now. It should have changed over already according to the models, it should happen soon I imagine.
Edge Weather
Yes, believe it or not, those extremely heavy radar echoes in Northern Warren County right now are snow. The soundings indicated that it should have mixed with sleet by now, but it has not. We are getting killed up here. The roads absolutely have to be horrendous. nzucker
Amazingly heavy snow right now. The radar looks awesome, I hope I can get some accumulations as the better snows are just starting to work into Southern Westchester. Temperature has been dropping fast, too.
