Pretty much been -PLRA for the whole duration so far, with a quick shot of snow at the onset. Streets are water filled. Dry slot moving in...looks like its trying to fill in a bit though. Temp hovering at 33/34

We'll see how it turns out....

Wow this system is almost as impressive as the groundhog day storm as far as coverage. Looks like a near miss here along M59. Saginaw up to cadilac look to maybe get a foot

Hot spot around Highway 10..Say Gladwin area will get 10-12 inches.

Gorgeous satellite signature on this storm. Typical with rapidly deepening low/mid level storms as convection aids pressure falls with jet level divergence aiding the development of deep, moist convection which then aids synoptic deepening. Beautiful jet core interaction with the convection over IA. Spring at its absolute best with a little winter storm action mixed with deep, moist convection and some serious big bopper supercells this afternoon.

Nah I am totally fine with it. MSP not getting much anyways--but I will admit it would have been cool to be in ND for this one. No worries though--convection season down here. I was in the office just getting in when the line of supercells fired in eastern NE. Omaho NWS office got on the radio and said they couldn't hear a thing because of the golfball size hail nailing their office. I am pretty excited about severe wx season here and the craziness that will entail at the office.

That said--a beautiful storm and still fun to track. I don't have to be in a storm to enjoy it :)
