Soundings read .47" of qpf for Richmond.

850's are -2 the whole time.

Surface is warm. 33-36 and thicknesses are pretty high, 545.

DCA is .29". Everything is cold enough here. Thicknesses are 538. Surface starts off at 34 and drops down to 30 while precip is falling.

Accuweather saying chance of snow potential for mid-Atlantic and New England WELL into April. I have seen charts showing warming trend by day 7 or so - that take us into the mid-week, possibly Thursday or so. Those guys should lighten up on thedrunk.gif!

Hate to say this - let us get this storm over with. It should of happened in Feb.

They are forecasting the weather and not going by day 7+ models which are not relibiable anyway.

the nao is really hard to forecast.. it does look like it wants to go back neutral or +

we can only fight climo so long.

but i agree it sucks. i would rather it not snow at this point.. the positive is it will be gone in 24 hours or thereabouts.

I agree

I was in Williamsburg last weekend and Friday it was in the low 80's (Norfolk had a record high of 82) and Sat was 71

I'm ready for that around here on a regular basis like most sane people
