H2Otown_WX
Scott have you had a look at the ensemble mean for the 3/28 threat that seems to have disappeared on the OP?
CoastalWx
Scott have you had a look at the ensemble mean for the 3/28 threat that seems to have disappeared on the OP? It's still there. It loses some of its identity as it gets caught in some confluence, but the big 4/1/97 redux is there..lol.
CoastalWx
The GFS ensembles are almost too good to look at. It's a classic setup for the 4/1 storm.
kevin1927
Just starting to stick to grassy surfaces now here around Boston. Started as light rain, but quickly transitioned to snow.

ORH_wxman
Over 2" here...but probably not much more...maybe we can grab another few tenths out of that burst near Quabbin. Some scenic pics though. I got some pics when it was coming down pretty good. Forthcoming in a few

40/70 Benchmark
About .75" of slush.....probably end up with about 1". BL was a big issue here in the lowlands....needed elevation. No complaints. 32.4\

No complaints. 32.4\31 Yeah, at my house around 450' I measured .8" but at my high school it looked like maybe 1.5" or more, which is at 600' I believe. Still, a nice spring snowfall. moneypitmike
Always fun when the snow flys under paltry radar. I guess it's compensation for the dry period this morning while under echos. Eyeballing less than 4". Temp stuck at 30.5/

ORH_wxman
Rough qpf for Pvd and Falmouth ? 0.10"-ish....its actually better back in CT and HFD area because the precip gets squashed S as it tries to come E.
moneypitmike
Last burst here, big flakes. Maybe not, Will. Check out the Albany radar over my head. It's paltry, but we have moderate snow with big flakes.
Clinch Leatherwood
0.10"-ish....its actually better back in CT and HFD area because the precip gets squashed S as it tries to come E. Ugly! Right now all models have that sheared se signature. Let's hope the euro is doing the usual and is a bit too far south
ORH_wxman
Maybe not, Will. Check out the Albany radar over my head. It's paltry, but we have moderate snow with big flakes. Well I can see the clear air mode filling in to my west every time it looks like the back edge wants to approach. Its snowing pretty good here right now. I'd be happy if I scraped out another few tenths to half an inch.
