Bodhi Cove
Long rumble of thunder in Middle River, with light rain. The goal of getting the deck stained & waterproofed is nothing more than an exercise in frustration.

WinterWxLuvr
Solid rains have been falling here, with radar suggesting plenty more. In 24 hours, my forecast for today went from 30% rain, to 100% heavy rain. Now hearing thunder and seeing lightning flashes.

North Balti Zen
at least you all have something to complain about Was I complaining? It's warm(ish), and that's fine by me. I have indeed grown tired of highs that struggle to get out of the mid-50s.

If you won't, I will. Clear skies, sunshine, warm temps, and calm winds is weather also. I'll take 3 or 4 days in a row of THAT weather. Screw this Amazon River BS. Mrs.J
Steady rain up here and a flood watch issued until 6pm temp is 53. The rivers, creeks and streams cannot take anymore. Many roads in Frederick Co. are still closed to flooding or mud slides.
bdevil02
Rain seems to be staying north of DC. This going to stay that way today?

Many roads in Frederick Co. are still closed to flooding or mud slides. nice to see another Frederick poster here I agree with you about the rivers not being able to take much more. The Monocacy has already been over flood stage. I took these on Saturday while driving down Rt 15 just south of Thurmont. Just outside the frame in the last picture was a heard of cattle that got trapped in the water. the water rose so fast they couldn't make it to high ground and were up to their shoulders in the stream. last I saw they were slowly making their way to high ground. first true flash flood I have seen
WinterWxLuvr
We are getting really heavy rain here. One storm after another keeps rolling through. The heaviest rain, by radar, seems confined to the northern end of the county. This is the first time in my three years teaching here that I have ever been able to hear the rain on the roof over my classroom. This rain rivals what we had Saturday. I know there's going to be flooding if this continues much longer.

Mrs.J
nice to see another Frederick poster here Thanks! Yes the fields up here are an amazing site to see. Most of the soccer fields off of 26 are now ponds. I live down off of Ballenger Creek Pike so the fields are a bit higher. But Ballenger Creek runs just behind my neighborhood. I have yet to see how much it is over its banks. Just had a nice flash and crack to the heavy rain that we now have. :mapstorm:
