HoarfrostHubb
I looked at six websites about this problem Three said to fertilize, three said don't Even those who said to fertilize said to get the soil tested because adding too much makes the long term problems worse. Thatch also seems to add to this problem. I don't think I have ever had it. My biggest problem is my dog and ants.

Once the ground is burning it's cool turn the soil with a pitchfork and watch the mini-mushroom clouds erupt. Great summer fun.
Mr Torchey
I played for Cleveland for the last 6 yrs while I was in the business. I left golf 4 years ago. Angela Aulenti is the DIrector of Golf at Sterling Farms Golf Course in Stamford Ct, feel free to call her, I worked for her for 7 years. I worked at Deerwood CC in Jacksonville FLA before that, please contact them to ask, its easy just look up the number, and my first job in the golf business was under Roy Pace at Wee Burn CC in Darien Ct. Sam Wiley is the head pro now, but I am positive he would take a moment to look up my past employment, I believe that was in 98-2000.
Mr Torchey
I left the golf business to spend more time with my growing family, but i will leave the forged irons at home and take out these cg tour blades, butter knives actually, even though I have not even played this year, you can hit your sissy shovels, and we can do some hard core gambling chemical boy! I used to play the Ta3's before I got serious and found Mizuno. Used to love the old Launcher driver, one of my all time favorites and still play a Cleveland 3 wood which is a monster club for me. Love cleveland. I keep telling Pete he's got to play The Ranch in Southwick. Good central location for me and you.......It's a great course. Snow Bow
We just had our lawn leveled and stumps removed I've already put down lime and am about to put down some 6-16-12 fertilizer that the local Blue Seal lawn and garden store set me up with along with 50lbs of grass seed. My question being how much of this fertilizer should be spread. I have a 2100 sq foot section(the only area dry enough that I can work in with all of the wet weather lately) that I have slated for fertilizing. My total square feet is 10,500. I'll be down through your way a bunch later in the summer, so we can get out down there as well. Let's work on something at The Ranch for you me and Pete and get a 4th. My game should be in good shape by then to give you a run for you money.

It's 2 hrs for me but I have family near by and can make a trip of it. It's about 90mins for Joe, he'll have to suck it up. Let's work on a date and get it planned. Last week in June is good for me, that Tues or Wed??
