2wheelin
Can some one give a science teacher the method to save a radar loop to show at a later time?
Thunder Road
I downloaded a free software called CamStudio that records your screen until you click stop. That way you can play the loop then record the screen with the loop on it. If there's a better way, I'd love to hear it
Scott W
WeatherUnderground has a feature on their radar displays to save the picture, whether it is a radar still or a radar loop. Look for it as the "View/Save This Image" link in the bottom left of radar.
johnc
Some animated radars -- like the ones from the NWS -- are animated GIFs and can be downloaded. In Firefox you can go to Tools -> Page Info -> Media and then find the radar image file and save it.
