ORH_wxman
Nice event for DCA/BWI on this run. Probably not too dissimilar to Dec 5th last year for comparison. Or like 12/5/

yoda
H85 0c line is off Ocean City MD at 144 hrs and then runs due south to the Outer Banks...very cold aloft. 150 hours deepening rapidly off the coast of the Mid Atlantic..still significant precipitation in the Mid-Atlantic and DC getting hammered..surface a bit warmer but probably 33-35 degrees and snowing. yoda
12z GGEM from Earthlight again Continues to develop a more robust shortwave on the 5th, and just misses amplifying off the coast. Great setup aloft at H5. Note the position of the block to the north as well.
Kmlwx
From the Philly/NYC thread 33-35 hmm. I guess if it snows hard enough we wouldn't have issues. Plus...I don't really care about stickage on roads I just want it to look nice.

Ian
So I guess you're saving your "meh" for the severe threat eh? i've really not paid that much attention.. partly because it's december (or will be)... im not sold this will be a snowstorm for us, there is plenty of time for it to get screwed up... last yr was the exception. i expect it to get worse but with the look it might happen.
