FoothillsNC
Got 1.2" so far. Puts me at a total of 5.12" for March How do you keep getting so much more than me? We're only a few miles apart. I just checked and I've got .72", and this rain is very uniform across the county. Looks like its almost over here, the back edge is right over me. Here's a website I found in Blacksburg, SC just a few miles from us. His totals are almost an exact match for mine ( I got 1.77" on the event a few days ago, and about the same as his on this event)
jrips27
Had some long, glorious rolls of thunder from about 12:30-1:15 P.M. Finished with about 2.5". Maybe a quick .25" with that line back in Alabama? Really enjoyed the rain today.
DaculaWeather
I've had about 2.94" for March so far. My average is 5.09. The last 10 years average for Atlanta is 4.85" and the average from '71 -2000 is 5.38".

FoothillsNC
The rain is redeveloping right over the NC/SC border region of the foothills now. Matter of fact, its raining about as hard as any point today, whereas a few minutes ago nothing was on radar upstream..now things are blossoming. The strong incoming divergence is starting to work its magic.

Hopefully we get some severe a little later.
POWERSTROKE
I am glad we didn't get all of the rain that was predicted. We have water standing from last friday still. If we would have received 3-4 inches we would had some serious flooding in some areas. I will take rain but not all at once if possible. This one time I don't care if we missed it

DaculaWeather
I was 1.87" on my Davis (storm total) and 1.65" on my CoCoRaHS gauge at 6:45 am this morning for a storm total of 1.78". I'd consider that pretty close, .09" difference over two days of rain, to me that's pretty accurate. I had .43" since midnight. EDIT: Updated the totals.
