centralmass
Here are the links to the "total acc precip " over the full run for both models, underneath is the URL unlinked in full. HRRR link rapidrefresh.noaa.gov/hrrrconus/displayMap.cgi?keys=hrrr:&runtime=2011030817&plot_type=totp_t3sfc&fcst=15 &time_inc=60&num_times=16&model=hrrr&ptitle=HRRR%20Model%20Fields&maxFcstLen=15&domain=t3&adtfn=1&wjet=1 RUC link rapidrefresh.noaa.gov/RR/displayMap.cgi?keys=rr:&runtime=2011030818&plot_type=totp_q2sfc&fcst=18 &time_inc=60&num_times=19&model=rr&ptitle=RR%20Model%20Fields&maxFcstLen=18&domain=q2&adtfn=1&wjet=1 My question is, does anyone know if where it says "&runtime=2011030818" if there is a modifier that can be used to always show the newest updated run such as something like "&runtime=latest" so that you could just bookmark that instead of having to vanaget through each site every time you wanted to look at the maps? It is the same thing on the direct link to the image itself: here Thanks.
isohume
The Rapid Refresh (RR) is a new model to replace the Rapid Update (RUC). The HRRR is a nested grid version of the RUC, but in this case it's the RR, therefore the output is similar, but not the same due to the differing resolutions/domains used.
