For those holding out hope...the Euro weeklies are cold and stormy weeks 2-4..esp weeks 3 and 4

Why anyone would give up on snow on March 11th is beyond me. I love when people get tricked into thinking Spring is here only to get slammed by Winter yet again. How miserable the snow haters will be when they're buried again. Can't wait, just hope I don't miss anything when I'm away.

Most New Englanders have seen their last real accumulating snow until winter '11-12. It's mid-March with a sh*tty pattern for at least the next week to ten days. Not sure what else you'd expect people living in the lowlands or coastal areas to think. It's no trick - it's climo.

awesome opening day should feature a 43F rain storm with 37F rain in your backyard. winter is over until further notice.

good thing we ripped during the heart of winter....also the big march forecasts (which really were "wishcasts") are a big PHail. thou perhaps we got a freak coastal hailmary everyone is crossing their fingers on.

Is a couple weeks of cold, damp weather worth a slight chance at a snowstorm? Idk...tough to say.

Yeah that's what I mean. It's not conducive to any prolonged nice wx, nor does it look wintry. Although it doesn't have to look "wintry" to produce some sort of snow event during this time of year.. the overall pattern isn't really all that supportive. But, we'll keep an eye out.
