55-65MPH wind gusts recorded more this winter than any I can remember

Winds gusted to near 60MPH here last night in Queens which was the 5th time I believe this has happened here this winter which is more than any winter I can remember.

WInds of 55+MPH are not frequent here but this winter has been the exception.I have never experienced so many high wind events.These storms have really overperformed with the winds.

How have the winds been in your area compared to years past?
