nzucker
1.84 inches. Its been raining really hard for the last 2 hours. Yeah we've really been getting pounded here in Westchester, came down hard as I was doing my delivery job tonight. Driving conditions weren't terrible but some ponding is evident on low-lying roads, and everything is starting to run off from the high water table. I wouldn't be surprised if the Saw Mill Parkway is closed again due to flooding.

Bronx River is a mess when it rains. I need the Saw Mill to be open so I can get back and forth to work easily, but tomorrow is looking like a wash-out. Fortunately, I might be off anyway in the morning.

Guest Patrick
Power flickering here in Clifton, NJ. Raining cats and dogs. I don't really know how else to phrase it... I would like to say "It's POURING rain," but Earthlight trademarked that adjective to describe snow, so it just doesn't work anymore =)

I was never saying it wasn't going to rain at all, but I wouldn't call tonight's flooding conditions "life-threatening" or "historic" for most of NYC metro. 47.3/46 2.15" rain
