dryslot
Snowing now. Gotta love the little "gustfront" you get when finally overcoming the virga. Quickly down to 32.9F after peaking at 34.4F a bit ago. Has not started here yet but its on the doorstep, 36 degrees, Should see it cool down here as well with the start up.. dendrite
1/2SM mod snow now at 31.2F. It still appears we'll drop to around 30F via wetbulbing. A very dense amount of flakes falling right now.

dendrite
Parachute aggregates Well the initial front end thump had a little more potential for better snow growth...deeper moisture up to H5-H6 into the -15C zone with decent omega. It's borderline impressive right now...probably 3/8SM...but it should decrease as the day goes on.
dendrite
Great snow growth now....I'd be pleased to bust on that prediction. Probably pushing 1/4SM +SN now with the trees in my backyard almost totally obscured. It should let up over the next hour or so though.

Actually we're now getting the huge parachute aggregates too. These are Kennedys pushing Eisenhowers.Between 1/4-3/8SM at the Canterbury and Sanbornton RWIS sites now. mahk_webstah
down to the small little flakes now, falling lightly but some 25+ just to the west should give us another burst I hope. Haven't measured but 2+ inches I think.

toller65
At long last PWM joins the fray. JayHawk - I see huge bust potential here in PWM, unless that GOM low suddenly spins up in the next hour - your thoughts?
dendrite
Congrats to you CNE/NNE peeps. Looks like Brian and company eek out another. Thanks...no jackpot here though. Thu is looking better and better for you. Back up to 31.8F with a relatively brighter overcast and some very light snow. You can see the echoes beginning to pivot a bit on composite radar. Looks like some heavier snow should move back in over the next hour.

powderfreak
I'm not sure how the RUC has snow continuing until 9pm tonight... but radar looks like we are just about done. 1-2" on the mountain so far. Not wet but incredibly dense... snow growth has been pretty bad.
toller65
Radar doesn't look that great for the coast. Scratch out an inch or so? Sounds about right. I was hoping the WSW for the mountains would verify, but I'm wondering if they'll even pick up 4".... however, any snow is a bonus
dendrite
FWIW....the 12z EC has an additional 0.25" after 18z (2pm aka now) and 0.50" just offshore from the midcoast of ME to downeast. The 0.25" line runs from about BTV-MHT-LWM. We'll see.

Business is going to have to pick up. It's just melting on contact now. Hopefully inland ... 'bout 20 miles or so ... it's ripping fatties and I'll arrive to a couple inches.
