Baroclinic Zone
I thought I'd break off a thread to see February snow totals since it was DT back in early February who said the big winter storm pattern was over for many who were in that pattern from just after Christmas right through January. I am already aware of the temp. departures for the major climo. sites. For myself, I had 10" of snowfall for the month. Pretty uneventful month for my back yard given that 60% fell in the first 2 days alone. Feb 1 4.0" / Feb 2 2.0" / Feb 8 0.5" / Feb 21 1.0" / Feb 25 0.5" / Feb 27 2.0" = Feb Total 10.0"

HIPPYVALLEY
20" IMBY (+/- 2" margin of error. ) It actually wasn't that bad a snow month just weird because there were long gaps and the good snows were quickly followed by ice storms.

Cold Miser
Signature for specific amounts. 13.25 total. Not a complete bust for a month total, but the couple rain/ice events kind of killed the winter mojo that we had going from January.
SJonesWX
32" IMBY. I said it before and I will say it again. 2/25-2/27 (18.25") saved february's butt. Otherwise it would have just been barely normal. Cold, but normal snowfall-wise.
tamarack
Feb gave MBY 140% of my avg, easily the best month of the winter thus far. Still waiting for a snowfall beyond "medium", though. I've had storms of >12" in 8 of 12 winters coming into this one, and those four are #1,2,3 and 5 at the low end of my season totals. 2010-11 is already higher (by 1.8") than the best of those, and the top event is 8.9", nice but ordinary. Collinsville
February 2004 was pretty horrific as well. Had a nice little surprise storm on the evening of the 3rd. Fought off the BL issues that those to my South had for quite a while and got 4.5". Plus that month had wire to wire snow cover. 98 and 02 were just unthinkably bad.
