FROM THE WEST...INTERSTATE 70 EAST INTO MARYLAND THROUGH HAGERSTOWN AND FREDERICK. 70 ENDS IN BALTIMORE. when it does, take exit 91 south, interstate 695 toward glen burnie. this is the baltimore beltway. follow beltway to exit 7a, the baltimore/washington parkway south, toward washington. next exit is nursery road. take that exit and head east. marriott is on the left a mile or so up the road. FROM HARRISBURG AND POINTS NORTH...INTERSTATE 83 SOUTH FROM HBG INTO MARYLAND TO 695 WEST TOWARD PIKESVILLE AND WASHINGTON. see above for directions from beltway. if the west side beltway is messed up for some reason...take the beltway east to interstate 95 south and follow directions from downtown below. NEW JERSEY AND NEW YORK...NJ TURNPIKE BECOMES INTERSTATE 95/JFK HIGHWAY IN DELAWARE. FOLLOW SOUTH INTO BALTIMORE. TAKE THE BALT/WASH PARKWAY EXIT OUT OF DOWNTOWN TOWARD AIRPORT. next exit once you cross under 695 is nursery road. see top paragraph. FROM THE CAROLINAS TAKE 95 NORTH TOWARD AND AROUND DC. ALTERNATE IS U.S. 301 NORTH FROM RICHMOND TO NICE BRIDGE OVER THE POTOMAC RIVER. YOULL HAVE TO MAP IT FROM HERE. I HAVENT BEEN THIS WAY IN A LONG TIME. I KNOW HOW TO DO IT, JUST NOT ROUTE NUMBERS ETC. THIS AVOIDS WASHINGTON AREA TRAFFIC WHICH CAN BE A NIGHTMARE. from 95/495 however...take baltimore/washington parkway north for 25-30 miles or so to nursery road east. it is the exit just past 195 for the airport. follow nursery road about a mile or so. hotel on left. CURRENT ADVISORIES... - tunnels being worked on in the evening if you are coming from the northeast. not normally a traffic issue. - construction around the delaware turnpike toll is an issue at the moment. the one at the md/de state line. - construction on key bridge 695 southeast side. not much of an impact on traffic. - rush hour on the northside and westside beltway slow before about 9am and between 5-7 pm.
