phlwx
Rules for this contest: 1) Predict the monthly departure in temperature for NYC and PHL for December, January, and February (meteorological winter). 2) Predict the total seasonal snowfall at NYC and PHL for 2010-2011. 3) Tiebreaker -- predict the lowest overnight low in Bradford, PA for the upcoming winter. Format (so I can keep track on excel): NYC: D +9.4, J -7.9, F +7.8 Snow: 110.4" PHL: D -12.3, J +0.1, F +1110.3 Snow: 0.0" Tie: -93 Everyone starts with 100 points for the upcoming winter, with a tenth of a point deducted for every tenth of a degree in temperature and tenth of an inch of snow you are off from the total. If you hit the temperature in any month perfectly, you earn 10 bonus points. If you get the seasonal snowfall correct, you get 20 bonus points. Nikolai
The contest was started at Eastern and the old deadline was 10/15. I don't see any deadline here, and my forecast was out well before I posted it here (I was banned from Eastern).

Nikolai
No biggie. When I get time I'll update it. Thanks.
phlwx
Updated standings through January, NOT including snowfall. It's mattinpa and nikolai who are effectively the leaders. JBG will get hammered on snowfall at the end so his current standing is misleading.
