NortheastPAWx
The NAM is just crazy...training storms from Tamaqua through Luzerne County into Wyoming County...2.00"+ and rain still falling.
Thunder Road
What I would give to see the next hour of the NAM. It looks like Monday morning will not be too fun...
Thunder Road
Well at least the NAM and GFS aren't too different... NAM at 84: GFS at 84:

MGorse
The 00z NAM is much more amplified at 84 hours compared to the GFS. There are several 12z GFS Ensemble members that are slower than the operational.

Based solely off precip amounts, the ECM is much closer to the NAM than the GFS.

Thunder Road
And of course the ECM brings in the [insert adjectives here] heavy snow. yeah you'd have to ask tombo or someone with sv to compare the exact temps. i was just going off storm track & timing. the NAM looks warmer than I would imagine the ECM is
NortheastPAWx
GGEM ain't buying what the GFS is selling wrt to precip...easily 2.00+

famartin
EC backed off on the snow... keeps it away from I-95 and much less than before in the Pocs.
phlwx
GFS is by far the more progressive of the models, EC is about 6-12 hours behind the GFS and the NAM is about 6 hours behind the EC. The NAM at this stage is always the last to the party so I would expect things to speed up a bit on it RE: timing. Yeah, the snow threat is cut back quite a bit on the EC as well...
