ski MRG
17/-6, The longer days mean you can get more skiing in after work. Did one circuit of the pitches across the glen from me. The steep stuff empties you out at the stream. Looks like some Wintery/wet/ Wintery precip in the future here.
CoastalWx
OH MAN, did you enjoy it? Yeah it was interesting, but I liked it. I know you like your high end Scotch/Whiskey.
Mr Torchey
Yeah it was interesting, but I liked it. I know you like your high end Scotch/Whiskey. The beautiful hollow by the broad bay, is what it means i think, distilled in Kentucky Oak barrels, and yes I love it, just cant always afford it!! ski MRG
Something tells me you do well somehow someway Lol. It's just these last few years that have been duds seemingly. I've always thought of March as a big snow month. I'm sure the Berks will get nailed at some point. It's been to much of an old fashioned, azz kickin' Winter for March and April be crappy. Days of old.
Baroclinic Zone
Yep, sounds about right. It's going to be a brutal backdoor season. Heavy, heavy man ass. Kevin will be wearing his banana hammock pruning his oaks in 60F weather while Phil, Mess and I are socked in pea soup drizzle at 40F.

ski MRG
-2/-7, calm, looks like some adverse weather Sat night and Sunday before a flip to some accumulating snow Sunday night and Monday. Could be worse, at least there will be some snow.

Could be worse, at least there will be some snow. Agreed. From what Dryslot has said, sounds like the EC crushes areas in NY but will essentially be a rainstorm in SNE. But that the 06gfs dropps a healthy snowbomb on the interior of SNE. Maybe we could get something in between which clobbers God's Country (the latest GFS does that but it's greated qpf is further east. Probably with more taint further east). 8.4/-
Mr Torchey
Nam and Euro worlds apart from the more progressive and colder GFS. GFS score a coup? Nah, garbage in, garbage out.

jconsor
For the next week, yes. But the parade of arctic highs dropping SE from the Yukon to Quebec shows no sign of abating - so it could still get quite cold again. Enjoy this mornings cold...this is it for the year as far as bitter cold temps.
