Damage In Tolland
I noticed next week's storm has trended a little more interesting...especially for NNE. Logan11 I think picked up on this. The low doesn't necessarily want to cut north along the front, but shows signs of trying to redevelop or maybe even get pushed further south. Something to watch as the PNA does rise a little bit. After that, the flow isn't terribly amplified, but there are signs of confluence in the height field over Canada. It's also displayed in the mass fields by high pressure hanging around just to the north of the border. Sure it could go to crap, but I don't see certain evidence saying winter is over, especially for NNE. You mean the middle/end of week storm? Damage In Tolland
Still have 15-18 inches of snow OTG depending on where I measure. I have never seen anything like this snowpack...Just amazing stuff
CoastalWx
You mean the middle/end of week storm? Yes, that one. It's still rain for us verbatim, but it almost tries to imitate the storm on Monday and do a rain to wintry mix at the end. Verbatim, it's more of a concern to NNE. CoastalWx
CPC has the PNA rising slightly and the NAO falling slightly, so that's not bad. Any relief from the -PNA is welcomed.

Tropopause_Fold
Man...does anyone have 12z EC soundings for CON? I'm so close to a snow bomb on Monday. the BL is still pretty mild - like +3C at 925. the soundings i have are not the best resolution but i can tell you at 12 and 18z it looks kinda ugly. Ah...so it's lousy between the sfc and 850mb then. I'm 20mi N of CON so maybe I'd fare a bit better verbatim. Some of those 6hr QPF totals are really high so maybe I could luck out for awhile. weatherMA
Nice cool wintry day with a 28F high. These forecasts are both for Monday for the same place, lol. Depending on what the public looks at they might think monday afternoon will either snow or be sunny and 60F. Monday: Rain, snow, and sleet likely. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Monday: Morning rain and clouds, then increasing sunshine...gradually. Highs near 60. wxeyeNH
18Z GFS is quite a change from the 12Z run. Low runs up further west ending the snow bombchance for C/NNE (on this run).
Mr Torchey
Nice rainy weekend, quality time with the family, next week looks amazing sunny and upper 40's to near 50. Very smooth transition down here./

If I was living in the Greens in VT I would feel pretty good about Sun/Mon, pretty much consistently put on the good side of most models.

Mr Torchey
It has its moments. Hopefully this coming Spring isn't bad. Last year was perfection, shorts from mid march on, but i love the slow progression of the seasons, make me appreciate each one more. 65 and sunny with a light breeze off the sound in late april to late May is just awesome..
