michsnowfreak
Ive taken a lot of pictures this winter, but most have been suburbia shots. My most scenic from a nature/flocking snow point of view were probably of the Dec 12th snowstorm. Well I went for a nature walk yesterday on what many would consider a downright UGLY day. Call me crazy, and I KNOW Im in the minority, but even living in the Great Lakes at the end of a long, cloudy winter...I dont get tired of those gloomy days. And yesterday was as gray as it can get, coupled with icy old snow...its certainly not the picturesque type of winter day...but I actually kind of enjoy those days. few more.... michsnowfreak
FIgured id throw this here instead of its own thread. For the first time in months, had some heavy rains yesterday morning. It POURED, 1.08" fell..and this is what the aftermath of that looks like when the temp falls below freezing. Ice everywhere and rockhard snow.
