Front literally just made it through here last night, 37.4F. Just miles to my South and SE its in the lower 50s. Dont think I have ever seen a temperature contrast this dramatic across the area here.

The thermal Gradient is pretty good with this system, the switch over was pretty rapid from rain to snow in the central parts of this region.

Yep CC, looks like mainly 12-15 inches but there will no doubt be some reports above that range as well, esp by the time everything is finally done in the next 6hrs or so.

The front setup literally 1 mile or so to my west... I've never seen that happen before. It's still 47 here

Fun when that happens. Doesn't mean diddly either It was either what you got or a colder version of the rain.

What was the total qpf that way?

While the snow cover persisted, it's still a disaster. All the sticks and branches thad had blown down during the winter and got buried at various point from the snows have all emerged. I hope my trip to Maine doesn't happen this weekend so I can start burning--or at least assembling what will be series of infernos.

Kevin--are you going to fire up the lawn thread?

It's literally bisecting part of Tolland now. Western part of town is into the 30's Me in the North central area still upper 40's and fog..SE section is still 50+ ..Insane

Wow that is pretty insane your right, thats a proper tight boundary!

2.30" of rain has fallen here. Snowpack is still a robust 26". The 1.3" of sleet that fell last week put on a nice impenetrable hide I guess.

That pack is a LOT better than here. I'm eye-balling what looks to be 8-12" for the most part with much higher amounts in the areas that are drift-prone and much less where they plowed the lawn for easier access to sap buckets.

31.9/30

What was the before/after depth? Signifcant loss of depth here if there's only 8-12 remaining.

Well it's kind of dark so tough to tell, but still some snow in the woods and people's yards. We didn't have quite the rain here though. Maybe a little over an inch?

I past the front on my way in. It was 56F about 2 miles to the south over I-93/495, but 44 when I pulled into work. Looks like the front busted north again.

Winds were pretty nuts when I left home. It had that distinct roar.
