Impressive snow melt here all of the piles on the sidewalk in fron t of my house are gone.

Just some random piles here and a patch out where it's shaded, but the piles were nuked today.

Theres a pretty good grass patch now in Megan's front yard out near the sidewalk...its worked back a solid 10-12 feet now. The back area is still totally snow covered though with about 8-12". I'll be anxious to see the pack back home tomorrow morning.

38/38 and dropping fast now. I'd almost like to stay to see what happens but I'll be in the Mad River Valley before 11pm where there is little doubt what the outcome will be. Big Winter incoming. Big Big Winter. Hey, I thought DT said no more big snowstorms for New England. Oops.

Man the disaster it left behind is hideous. I could walk around for an hour or more, picking up crap. It's gross...congrats on those that get off on mud and left over debris.

I hate seeing the piles disappear because you know they won't be back. Yeah you might get a snow event to bring a few back, but overall they're on the way out. That's the one depressing thing about this time of year.

Isn't it bizarre that Ryan has been wishing for this since, well, he always wants the snow to melt.

Snow ....great dendrites and 31.6F here now.

It took about one hour to get the snow line to move 5 miles south to me....so it is a slow process. We had sleet for about two hours.

congrats rick hope it stays snow from here on out . wonder what temps in the snow growth area are? earlier today stowe was 28.5 at 800' and 30 at 4000'.

would like to see you score 20-25" this is a qpf bomb.

You can see the transition to snow on radar. Looks just about on top of you. I think it should painfully creep se, but I wouldn't be shocked if some areas near the sn/ip line perhaps briefly go back to a mix with pellets as the low moves closer.
