40/70 Benchmark
I just went out in slippers and you can notice it right at ground level. My temp is now 40F. I only care what it is right above the snow pack.......don't give a sh** that an ASOS station at the top of an aircraft carrier @KBED reads 40*
dendrite
Wx bug is 39.3\39 and my Davis is 32.6\32. Love the razor thin cold layer. You'll mix out in a bit. My NW winds just kicked in and I've quickly jumped from 32F to 34F. Plymouth north of me is pushing 40F.
CoastalWx
I lost most of yesterday's snow except for the more shaded areas and existing snow. A lot of that will probably be gone outside of the old snow, by tomorrow.

Well, I'm glad I should you the pics.....I'm not sh*tting you when I tell you how stubbornly I hold onto cold, once above 32*.... I must spend more time @ 32-34* than anywhere else in NE, during the winter.

I hope you hit 100" I am exactly tied Well I'm pretty sure you'll pass me, unless every storm turns into a ZR machine..lol. I just hope to get to 90". I think that's a reasonable goal. I'd also like to see an April event. I'm not asking for much, but 2-3" of paste would be pretty cool to see. April 2003 was the last good one for me. ORH_wxman
76.9" is pathetic? What's your average? Thats almost exactly his average. Though a lot of places saw "average" last year that felt a lot worse than that.

Ice Warrior commander
I torched to 42F .. now sliding down. 38F with West wind. I still have an inch of SN from Yday's event and a 17" snowdepth ( mostly cement) intact ATTM.
HoarfrostHubb
76.9" is pathetic? What's your average? Probably around that... it was just, so, empty. Warm winter, no good snowpack, lot's of coulda beens...(surpression anyone) Even if this year ends with the same total, it will have been much better in my book

Warm winter, no good snowpack, lot's of coulda beens...(surpression anyone) Even if this year ends with the same total, it will have been much better in my book To give an idea how bad last year was around here, I had 16 events that yielded measureable snowfall. This year I have 25 so far.

weatherMA
Still 41F here... high dps for the loss...can see grass in the typical sunny/ near tree areas. I hate seeing grass when there is a 20" snowpack around it. If it was in my yard I would take some snow from the 20" pack surrounding it and cover it up lol. I can see a tiny amount of grass on the Extreme edges of the 17" pack I have here. I should cover it up in front of my window with more snow as there is so much snowpack out there! The snow is SO hard, I may use that white stuff in the store. I'll do that tomorrow.
