You getting hammered right now?? Looks like it on radar coming my way :yikes:

not yet, but its just a few miles away (why does it always seem like that, esp when its not in your back yard lol). whats odd is the radar shows a lot of lightning in the storms to the west, but so far have seen none, and no thunder. the sky is certainly dark and the clouds are moving really fast :scooter:

oops: as soon i was was ready to hit reply, the first clap of thunder came through (and dog ran to hide lol)

The Western Piedmont and Northern Upstate better be prepared over the next hour. A couple line segments have developed...one over the foothills and another along the Southern Escarpment...I look for this to possibly yield into one long squall as it gets east of the mountains.

Won't be long before it knocks on mine and Robert's door. Right now skies are becoming progressively dark with gusty conditions continuing to persist. I've already had gusts reaching 37 mph for the day and I can only imagine the wind damage associated with a powerful cell as you smack on additional wind speeds. Temperature is now sitting at 75° with a 57° DP. Should be here sometime between 5 and 5:30 if not a tad later.

I just drove through that nasty one in Bartow. Wow! The ground was white with golf ball and quarter sized hail near Emerson. The highway was stopped and the cars started rocking. I dont know if it was a tornado but it was powerful. Ive driven through some bad ones but this tops them all. Just seeing 75 covered in hail was crazy. I couldnt see 5 feet in front of the car.
