CoastalWx
Yeah, you probably noticed what I noticed. That long duration fetch from the east, but up and over cold nrly winds at the surface. Almost like an overrunning pattern. You can still see this here. Could prolong the snowfall or ne mass and esp srn NH and ME.

His area north of the pike has been targeted for 0.25"+ QPF for some time now. Add in some nice ratios and 3-5 seems a lock.

cpickett79
on the drive yesterday to Wa WA around 4pm ...it was nice to obs. the changes in scenery. driving west on pike (from exit 12 framingham) things didn't change much as i got on 146N ( millbury /orh) until i got out of S. worcester and it was either on 290E or already 190N....that i could see the distinct line in ORH where trees went from wet'ish to iced and snow covered......looked beautiful.....this continued and of course when i got to wa wa the scene looked amazing with the trees covered with ice esp over 11-1200' and snow still sagging on trees.....thankfully they groomed the trails and the rides down the slopes were nice practically all alone. I kept checking the cameras and thinking "they are closed" then I would see a skiier or rider. Looked absolutely empty all day How many cars in the lot? 30? dendrite
EC/ens are nice up here. I get in on the 0.25"+ max stripe. GFS soundings have deep saturation below H5. H7-H8 stays in the max dendritic growth zone. It should be a nice little fluff event before it all goes to hell on Monday.

CoastalWx
What are your thoughts? Well a general 2-4 seems reasonable with maybe a 5 or possibly a 6" lolli up by ne mass, and probably se NH or srn ME. It's a fluff storm, so once again water equivalent will be low. HoarfrostHubb
This winter has been notable for its general lack of heavy wet snow for this area. Yesterday was really the only one. Granted we have all of March then Pete's Dreamland April Wet Snow Devastator, but we usually have a few more

dendrite
Congrats on having a solid block of ice through April. My depth is up to 31". My 43" depth on 3/1/08 died fairly quickly in mid April that year, but if this April stays cool I may not see grass for awhile.
