Since the low tracks thru downeast Maine. Anyone south of there torches..so I'm wondering how badly

Well I think you'll warm sector. Maybe mid to upper 40s?? Will could briefly warm sector too, but I wouldn't be shocked of that area goes from a little icing, to a 37F rain for hours..and maybe briefly torches.

12z NAM should help finalize stuff. Maybe Kevin only briefly gets warm if he's lucky, but this one will be warmer than last.

I had the flags up.

That was a Birving moment, I was joking around. It still looks like sometime on the second week of March, when it could be interesting. It's not a lock, and I could see it sort of crap out on us too. With that +NAO around, the se ridge lurks. I'm hopeful, but nothing excites me right now, unless I was in NNE. The end of the euro op run showed the first potential with an overrunning type deal. A little warm on that one verbatim, but it has the idea. Some of the models also try to give us a cstl after that.

I just wished we had the earlier blocking. This winter has been sh*t to the analogs. They didn't work out for the rip and readers who were going 80s to 90s style Nina, and it didn't work for those wanting the block to return. Proof that mother nature will do what it wants to do.

big qpf event day 7-9?

Rained here last night oh well. Only got down to 34.... Looks like a warm day today and warm rainstorm for tomorrow. (maybe upper 50's?)

drove to Worcester yesterday for lunch with family....snowback was patchy until Meriden, where it got better and from Vernon to Worcester it was in pretty good shape.....
