mahk_webstah
Damn right. Boidsong bugs and mud I abhor the signs of spring Achoo. Piss on it. Looks like there's an event on the way up my way. So I'll split The City at noon today and roar up to my hideout before it begins tonight. What's a 10 hr drive when big snow chases me home! Vim Toot! Have bolted long distances many a time for a storm... Your season has arrived Baron Duchy... Savor the moment. And happy jiggles...

CoastalWx
Not sure 6" is going to be isolated in this area.....BIrving prob gets 8". Yeah that whole area from srn NH down through you and esp east. I think the lower levels are hurting me slightly because I have a wetter snow, otherwise I would easily have 4". That band to my ne is a c-tease. There is something about these setups that like to overachieve. Even 12/20/08 areas had like 5-6" during the day, with worse dynamics than this. It's absolutely beautiful out. Everything single limb, including my weenie, is covered.

Ginx snewx
Nickled into a climo norm 13 inches for Feb, not bad considering according to most winter was over Feb 6th. CoastalWx
This is pretty cool. Notice the echoes coming in over northern Essex county. Notice how much faster and more robust those echoes are, compared to srn Essex county and the BOS area. That's the LLJ injecting juice into this. Now check out the 950mb prog at 12z. Notice how winds on this are stronger over ne mas...esp se NH and srn ME. Corresponds to the radar image.

CoastalWx
Scooter..why did you say last snow event? Ensembles were that bad? You were pretty excited yesterday I had the flags up. That was a Birving moment, I was joking around. It still looks like sometime on the second week of March, when it could be interesting. It's not a lock, and I could see it sort of crap out on us too. With that +NAO around, the se ridge lurks. I'm hopeful, but nothing excites me right now, unless I was in NNE. The end of the euro op run showed the first potential with an overrunning type deal. A little warm on that one verbatim, but it has the idea. Some of the models also try to give us a cstl after that. I just wished we had the earlier blocking. This winter has been sh*t to the analogs. They didn't work out for the rip and readers who were going 80s to 90s style Nina, and it didn't work for those wanting the block to return. Proof that mother nature will do what it wants to do.
