Damage In Tolland
What did you think of the Euro's performance on this clipper? Wasn't someone insisting on 0.05" QPF max for all of CT? LOL...that model has been mediocre all winter. I remember when we all used to swear by it..I think everyone still remembers those days when it nailed everything and we're just not used to it not being right. dendrite
What did you think of the Euro's performance on this clipper? Wasn't someone insisting on 0.05" QPF max for all of CT? Yup...wasn't great. Even the 00z run last night had under 0.10" for BDL and they're already up to 0.19".

40/70 Benchmark
Yup...wasn't great. Even the 00z run last night had under 0.10" for BDL and they're already up to 0.19". It was far from perfect, but it had the right idea in jackpotting N of the pike and S NH....NAM was trying to seduce Kev.

mahk_webstah
It's been moderate up here for the last hour too. CON is down to 1/4SM. It's getting into better radar coverage now. Over in Woodstock VT...light occ. mod snow here...couple of inches. Wondering what I will come home to. Sounds like 3 inches already Brian? Radar does look to be back building up there as well although the heaviest echoes seem to be CON and south. Looks like more snow overnight if I am reading that correctly? So tomorrow morning is peak depth before the mix. We need one or two more 6+ storms to give this winter an A. B+ right now I think.

jconsor
No - primary should track from near Buffalo to downeast ME. However, I think the idea of a wave developing south of LI and bringing a round of enhanced precip. Mon night (which could end as sleet/ZR and even a very brief round of snow) makes sense given the upper energy lagging well behind. Anyone care to voice thoughts on tomorrow's storm? Can we get a track like Fridays?

There is actually some OES elements coming off the Atlantic on radar. This is how you get lollis of 6"+. Good ratios with some low level forcing.
