Oh, ok, skiing is lower down on the priority list. Apres-Ski at Killington is kinda lame. Try Whistler/Blackcomb or Chamonix some day. Then again I have little use for nightlife. Like to ride up with Patrol first thing (once a patroller always a patroller, lol) and ski until the lifts stop spinning. 10 of you though, that sounds like fun. Did you rent a condo? Always love a ski trip with good friends. BTW, drinking and skiing don't mix, wear a helmet and have a blast.

First run at 836 today, slopes opened at 830. Last run down the mountain at 945pm. One lunch stop, one dinner stop, one stop to find my skis in the woods after catching an edge and having a yardsale in the glades. My six yr old made over 20 runs including "expert" trails that are borderline diamonds most places (rated black at shawnee) that were true expert trails today with moguls of 2-3' from snow getting pushed around.

You'd like skiing with my group. Took the worst Dixie of my life today. Heavy heavy alleve and wounded pride.

Nice!

I usually only go for 2-4 hours at a time or so. A day like your would have killed me

Good snow up there?

No need for that. If you aren't occasionally taking a spill you aren't pushing yourself to be a better skier. To me there is no shame in a decent wipeout. One of the most pathetic things I hear people say is, "I skied all day and never fell.". Just means they are timid skiers.

When we were kids my friends and I would get dropped off at the mountain in the AM and our parents wouldn't get us until 9-10pm. We thought it was great that we were allowed to be so independant. I now understand the evil genius that our parents were displaying. Gave us all great legs and stamina that persists to this day.

Just came back in...snowing at a pretty good pace. Temps down 2F in past 30 minutes. 29.6. Snowy night. I think I'm heading to my room for an hour reading and then bed. Should be nice in the morning.

No snow here, but I love hearing about it through your experiences. Enjoy the snow!

I'm back in The Valley today...first time since before the early February storm. I'm honestly surprised at how much snow is on the ground. I've only seen this much snow on the ground around here maybe a handful of times in my life, nevermind in late February after a decent amount of melting.

You should have seen it 3 weeks ago. I took a trip down to Springfield and the city was paralyzed.
