powderfreak
We've been seeing light snow for a bit now and these flakes are huge. This would be 2-3" with .1" liquid type stuff... they fall so slowly thanks to the parachute effect. If everyone else sees this type of snow growth, you're going to do well with low QPF. ski MRG
10 of us going up... plan to do a lot of partying Saturday night. Nightlife in Killington rocks. Oh, ok, skiing is lower down on the priority list. Apres-Ski at Killington is kinda lame. Try Whistler/Blackcomb or Chamonix some day. Then again I have little use for nightlife. Like to ride up with Patrol first thing (once a patroller always a patroller, lol) and ski until the lifts stop spinning. 10 of you though, that sounds like fun. Did you rent a condo? Always love a ski trip with good friends. BTW, drinking and skiing don't mix, wear a helmet and have a blast.

wxmanmitch
Blossoming. Hey Mitch, snowing nicely in Lenox? Yeah, it just started coming down good here. Nice dendrite aggregates. You can see the how the Hudson Valley is getting downsloped and how the Berkshires/Taconics are getting some upslope enhancement on that radar loop. Sometimes these little clipper/overrunning events need a little oomph from the hills to produce anything. I'd say we should get 2-3 inches, with maybe a 4" lolli somewhere. The flakes are well formed and it's snowing moderately here as well. What's your season total now? I would think 90-100" there in Lenox.
