Why just them? move that area due east it gets most

snowman21
Did you get any winds down there? Nothing noteworthy. Perhaps once those rapid pressure rises move through this evening from the Ohio Valley we'll see something. So far the most excitement from this storm was that batch of heavy rain early this afternoon.

DavisStraight
You're 33° and Sturbridge is 34° at 750'....Makes me wonder what's happening at 1250' in Union.... Down to 34 here.
wxsniss
those totals is what QPF has occured from 1pm to 7pm ..primarily 1-4pm... and the thickness snapshot is at 7pm....after the dry slot works thru......we shall see what the band in Ny/PA has for us after it rotates ENE this /evening. the very tail end of it might be...but don't forget...that represents precip falling between 18Z and 00Z...that's a 6h total. Thanks guys... I do understand the timing on these models. I was hoping not all of that qpf depiction on the 18Z is in fact between 18Z-20Z. The dry slot is approaching pretty quickly, if that band over NY/PA holds together I think it may overperform (ie more than just a coating-1"). CoastalWx
CAA might be a big deal here too with rapid MB rise? Yeah they have the pressure rise couplet moving through with CAA. It could blow pretty hard here later on, but I don't think 50ts.

Pretty amazing that the same band was in Niagara Falls this morning. yeah it's a pretty potent area of snow. the hrrr swings it right across SNE and actually intensifies it a bit as it gets into E areas. some other stuff seemed to hint it might weaken/shift NE. i'd be happy to pick up some snows later on. worth watching.
