If that batch near BGM holds together that's an easy 1-2 for most..Looks good for now

there's a closed 700mb low where that moderate to heavy stuff is out there...that's going to translate northeast into ME and southern Quebec...weakening the forcing as the trough and moisture go over SNE. But there will be something there, just not sure how much.

We have escaped relatively unscathed here in Chicopee.....33 right now, high of 35 today.... still just slush on any non-major roadway and snowpack intact...fortunately it appeared to snow an inch and a half or so before the changeover, and that has absorbed quite a bit of the rain.

It could've been a lot worse.

How is this not snow in Eastern MA? Sounds cold enough at all levels...

those totals is what QPF has occured from 1pm to 7pm ..primarily 1-4pm... and the thickness snapshot is at 7pm....after the dry slot works thru......we shall see what the band in Ny/PA has for us after it rotates ENE this /evening.

yeah..the c/w ma...maybe some e ma folks will have to watch that area out in CNY as it moves east.

the 18z nam is a lot like the ruc and nmm and leaves behind a little snow in MBY too. we'll see.
