Logan11
Moderate snow here...28.7F. The dry slot seems to be trying to fill and maybe it never quits here before the backlash stuff. I measured 9 inches at noon. A few more since then I'm sure..... Never got cracked it here. Topped at 30.9. (28.8/27, dropping steadily) Intensity has lessened a smidge but flakes are still hgue. Edit: intensity recommence.
HoarfrostHubb
don't really care about an 1-2 of snow ...will be nice...but i'm headed out to wachusett in an hour! driving slowly in 4WD. i hope it changes to snow...a bit better traction out there. just suprised how temps have been dropping since mid day with now partial icing moving into area (FZR) Sort of surprised they stayed open. We have been hovering between 31.5F and 32.0F all day. Lots of rain, and the trees are still coated with the snow. Careful driving on the side roads. Yuck. Skiing will not be so nice until later

radiator
well it poured for about 90 seconds, still some light to moderate rain but not a breath of wind associated with that line. (at least not yet) I see some obs had the wind just as the line passed. My wind gauge is out of service right now, but I certainly heard the almost instantaneous pickup in velocity here when it hit, along with a big splash of rain. It has dropped over 4 degrees in the last 15 minutes. (currently reading 41.7)

cpickett79
intellicast radar just popped a narrow band of snow on NE CT /N RI border...not that i think it is that far fetched b/c temps are 32-33 i wonder if there is a pocket of dynamically cooled 850-700 thicknesses there? mattb65
RUC holds that back end band together pretty decently and actually strengthens it for SE and E MA for 2Z - something to watch for those of us hoping to get a C-2" this evening. I thought the wind here would be a little better... so far nothing above 20mph (as per weatherbug in Gardner)... calm attm. Just holding steady at 31.7F with rain/drizzle Ray must be enjoying this one.

radiator
Nice! Congrats, hopefully the wind will be here soon. IIRC, my elevation is almost 500 feet higher than yours, and so maybe that explains the difference...
Mr Torchey
Where is the wind? I know se mass and the cape have had them.
