the only grass anywhere that I've seen anywhere in N CT is on south facing slopes along the hgyws..Off the hgwys still 100% deep cover..from Tolland to Windsor, to HFD

But Scott posted the lots of grass and it may be similar. eg: Sun exposed fields have some spots while shady areas are in deep snow. Woods are all snow of course. We'll add Sunday but that should be easy to obliterate fluff followed by a rainy warm Monday.

Yeah it's the sun torched spots..typical areas. Wooded areas are snow.

Is it decent on the Canadian side around Edmundston etc? I know up here in the outermost reaches of Upstate NY ...you can always drive over the border into Ontario and see more affluence.

I've crossed the NB border multiple times at the minor crossings near Caswell, California Rd. (Limestone), Fort Fairfield, Easton & Bridgewater.

Western NB's economy is quite similar to Aroostook's. Big farming & small businesses. I have seen no difference.

An interesting side-note: There is a golf course/country club directly on the border where the Aroostook R. enters NB just above Fort Fairfield.

The clubhouse is bisected by the border line as is the parking lot. Canadian plates in the east lot, ME plates in the west.

The bar is on the Canada side. The links are in America and Canada but the players don't have to clear customs. (US Border Patrol has screwed that up for Canadians now. Too many cops & too much copness, folks! Now back to our program)

This course was built during prohibition. It's lovely. Set in the highlands above the Aroostook R. gorge. Uniquely Aroostook County.

Hey Tootnany..

How warm does it get up there in the summer? Do you ever see any 90's up there with humidity? Or are those instances rare?

Beauty shot

Are the distances in English and SI units?

And is the beer cart loaded with American and Canadian products? (yeah, I know you don't bother with beer)

I thought he was using better TP? Such a reliable guy...I trusted him....

I'm betting I do a better job manscaping than 99.9999% of the users on this forum...just judging from the amount of time spent on their keasters or going brown eye to brown eye at the GTGs.

It's about 51 here now. Raging SW winds. Low is going to pass NW of me by a decent bit. Balls out warm now in ECT. 45s per the meso.
