CoastalWx
When do you think the r/s line crashes to the coast? NAM seems to imply in the 5-6pm timeframe? I think around 6ish we'll see the temps drop and mid levels start to cool.

OKpowdah
??? You were saying skirts the north coast of LI or the south coast of CT to PYM ... that's not across SE CT But it's irrelevant anyway, since it's going to track through Danbury
Roger
Simply put, insurance is a bet. An insurance purchaser is betting $XXX.xx / year that his house will burn down. The insurance company accepts the bet/money and bets your house wont burn down. It's a good bet by the insurance company that my car will not be stolen in Aroostook County! Vim Toot! Aren't most cars up there in the county on blocks anyway.
mattb65
1-3 this evening, 2-4 Sunday? I think we could see 3-6" on sunday so long as the BL is cold. Upper levels look awesome for great snow growth.
Allenson
Last two places I've lived we've never locked the house. In Jonesville, VT I never even had a key to the farm house we were renting. I was there for a year and never used a key. Livin' the Good Life.

CoastalWx
1-3 this evening, 2-4 Sunday? I'm nervous about Sunday. The best stuff might be to the north, a couple of inches seems like a good start. It's possible the euro might be a little too far north too, but lets see what the 12z models do. I think maybe an inch tonight for now. I'm never big on these backside things, but the dynamics seem to be there. That's going to be a nowcast. I could see something where we barely get a coating or perhaps over an inch.
